Student Thesis | Spanish-Speaking Genetic Counselors
Hello! Are you a genetic counselor who speaks Spanish fluently and has experience counseling Latine patients with support persons present? You are invited to participate in a study exploring the role, impact, and challenges of support persons at genetic counseling appointments of Latine patients. This study seeks to quantify their roles, assess their impact with key areas of the genetic counseling appointment, and explore related challenges of support persons that attend Latine patients’ genetic counseling appointments. An electronic survey will take ~15 minutes via Qualtrics. Participants have the option to enter into a raffle to win one of two gift cards.
