Where’s Our Sense of Humor? Evaluating Genetic Counselors’ Perspectives on Humor Usage in Practice
You are invited to participate in a voluntary research study to explore how genetic counselors perceive the usage of humor in clinical practice. Study participation involves an online survey that is estimated to take about 15 minutes to complete. Survey questions will assess genetic counselors’ perspectives on humor, when it is best used, and when it is best avoided. Participants can even learn their own personal humorstyle! Our goal is to establish a baseline assessment of the utilization of humor in genetic counselors’ practice to help better inform education and practice moving forward. Please contact Kristin Maloney (PI) at kmaloney1@som.umaryland.edu with any questions.
