What is the survey about?
We are conducting a survey on the support staff who assist with duties that are specific to genetics, such as coordinating ordering of genetic tests or collecting family histories. These support staff use many different titles and can help any type of professional such as nurses, PAs, physicians, and genetic counselors.
We are seeking to better understand the roles these support staff fill and the future demand for them. By completing this survey, you will help contribute to the growing knowledge base on the genetic workforce.
Who should participate?
We are seeking feedback from:
1) genetic support staff (e.g., genetic assistants, patient support specialists, genetic coordinators, genetic counseling assistants)
2) anyone that genetic support staff can assist (e.g., genetic counselors, geneticists, oncologists, nurses, PAs)
3) anyone who has the authority or influence over hiring genetic support staff or policies related to hiring them.
Please forward this survey to this survey to anyone who might be interested in taking it. We especially need feedback from genetic support staff and hiring managers.
