Responsibilities
Under direction of the Division Chief and the senior genetic counselor, the Genetic Counselor will coordinate the UCLA Peds/Adult Genetics Clinic and in addition to attending the craniofacial clinic. In this role, your duties include:
Provide genetic counseling to patients (inpatient and outpatient) and families in the Peds/Adult Genetics Clinic, Craniofacial clinic
Coordinate all aspects of clinical genetic testing and serve as clinical liaison to patients and providers seeking services in these clinics.
Other duties include lecture to professionals and public on genetic counseling, genetic disease and genomic medicine.
Support the ATLAS return of results process working closely with the Lab GC in the ATLAS Return of Result clinic.
