Looking for panelists for an NSGC EBS proposal on GCs' use of AI tools at work
Hi everyone,
I'm posting this call for speakers on behalf of some GC colleagues. I hope you would consider sharing your experience and/or share the post with your network.
Below is their message:
We’re looking for panelists for an NSGC EBS proposal focused on AI tools being used by genetic counselors in clinical or lab settings. The session will feature lightning talks with GCs sharing their experience with the solutions they are using. The goal is for our colleagues to learn from peers who are further ahead in adoption and implementation.
We’re specifically interested in GCs who are using employer/institution-provided AI tools that support tasks GCs already do, such as:
• Clinical applications: clinical documentation, medical scribe, risk assessment, chart review, in-basket responses, enhanced cascade testing, or other clinical applications
• Lab applications: we know that lab has been using AI tools for some time, so we’d love to hear about any new AI tools or applications within the last five years
If you’re using such tools or know someone who is, please email colleen@genomemedical.com or marlenao@23andme.com
Thank you!
