California Genetic Counselor Conference (CAGCC) invites you to join us for our Inaugural Educational Conference!
The theme of the conference is "Stronger Together!" Please join us in supporting our fantastic line-up of speakers and presenters this year in Pismo Beach!
The 2025 CAGCC Inaugural Educational Conference is a two-day event that will be held on Thursday and Friday, September 18-19th, 2025 at the Cliffs Hotel and Spa in Pismo Beach, CA. This event is intended for genetic counselors, students and genetics healthcare professionals including physicians, nurses, and other allied health professionals from a variety of settings, including academic centers, private entities, major healthcare systems, community-based services, clinical laboratories, industry and research. The conference highlights and shares expertise of genetic professionals across California while providing a venue for collaboration and networking of genetics professionals in our state.
The conference presentations will also be broadcast LIVE via Zoom for those who register to attend virtually!

Registration
Registration will be opening soon. Registration is required to attend the conference and no day-of tickets are available.
For all our registrants, you should have received an email confirmation after purchasing your ticket. If you did not receive your ticket or have questions about our registration, please contact our registration team.
In-person attendees must present their tickets on entry. You can either print your ticket or present a digital copy on your mobile device.
Virtual attendees will be contacted by email with virtual event login information prior to the conference.
Speaker Submissions
The California Genetic Counselors Conference (CAGCC) is inviting proposals for our joint educational conference to be held in Pismo Beach, CA.
We are looking for engaging, innovative, and informative presentations for the Northern and Southern California genetic counseling community. We especially welcome talks regarding advocacy and diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI). Thank you for contributing to the excellence of this conference!

Research Poster & Platform Session
The submission window for research posters and platform sessions is now open. The purpose of this session is for genetic counseling students and genetic counselors to share their research work with attendees. Eligible research projects are capstone/thesis projects or other research projects involving genetic counselors that are being conducted in California.
We ask that participants fill out the following forms:
