NSGC webinar for prospective gc students: Sept 30, 2022 3 pm
Hi everybody, MGPN and the Spanish Development SIG are collaborating in a free webinar for students interested in genetic counseling. We will have several speakers to discuss different topics including the following: - Applying as a Dreamer/DACA - Applying as an international student - Applying as a first generation student Finally we will also have a presentation by the program director of Boise State, Jennifer Eichmeyer to give some additional guidance/ information for those interested in the genetic counseling field. Please note a lot of this is going to come from a Hispanic/Latinx perspective since we are having this webinar as part of a celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month. There may be some relevant information for international students and things to think about as part of application to graduate school so I thought this would still be important to share with the International SIG Join Zoom Meeting
