The 2022 SCGC Annual Education Conference was a full-day event that will be held on Friday May 13, 2022 at Paradise Point in San Diego, CA. This event is intended for genetic counselors and genetics healthcare professionals including physicians, nurses, and other allied health professionals from a variety of settings, including academic centers, private entities, major healthcare systems, community-based services, clinical laboratories, industry and research. The conference highlighted and shared expertise of genetic professionals in Southern California while providing a venue for collaboration and networking of genetics professionals in our region.
The conference presentations was also broadcast LIVE via Zoom for those who register to attend virtually!

Registration
Registration for in-person admission is now closed. To register to attend virtually via Zoom Events, please click HERE.
If you are registering without purchasing CEUs, please select the "Virtual Admission Only" ticket. If you are claiming CEUs, you must purchase the "Virtual Admission with CEUs" ticket and pay the CEU fee. No refunds will be available.

Continuing Education Units
The National Society of Genetic Counselors (NSGC) has authorized Southern California Genetic Counselors (SCGC) to offer up to 0.7 CEUs or 7 Category 1 contact hours for the 2022 SCGC Annual Education Conference. The American Board of Genetic Counseling (ABGC) will accept CEUs earned at this program for the purposes of genetic counselor certification and recertification.

Please remember to fill out the conference evaluation form by Friday, May 20th to receive CEU credit.

This years conference will be held at Paradise Point, a resort hotel in Mission Bay, just minutes away from downtown San Diego, CA.

Accommodations
To book a room at Paradise Point through the SCGC room block, please call Paradise Point’s Reservations department at 855-463-3361 and reference the “Southern California Genetic Counselors Annual Education Conference” room block.

The room block rate is $269 per night. There is also a $20 overnight parking fee (per night, per car, reduced from $40) and $18 resort fee (per room, per day, reduced from $36).
