Event Details
The 2026 SCGC Annual Education Conference is a full-day event that will be held on Friday, May 8th, 2026, at the Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, CA. This event is intended for genetic counselors, students and genetics healthcare professionals including physicians, nurses, and other allied health professionals from a variety of settings, including academic centers, private entities, major healthcare systems, community-based services, clinical laboratories, industry and research. The conference highlights and shares expertise of genetic professionals in Southern California while providing a venue for collaboration and networking of genetics professionals in our region.
We have several options for registration this year. Attendees will have the option to select in-person or virtual registration with or without continuing education units (CEUs). The conference presentations will be broadcast LIVE via Zoom for those who register to attend virtually. We are offering discounted registration fees for SCGC members. Please select your ticket carefully as we will not be issuing refunds. No day-of registration will be available.
