SCGC 3rd Annual Education Conference

This year the SCGC Annual Education Conference will be presented in an entirely virtual format!  While we initially intended for this event to be attended in-person, SCGC is very proud to offer the same stimulating educational opportunity via an innovative platform that allows us to maintain the health and safety of our members, speakers, sponsors and community.

The conference is a free, full-day, virtual event that will showcase innovative topics and engaging speakers from the SoCal region and beyond.  This event is intended for genetic counselors and genetics healthcare professionals including physicians, nurses, and other allied health professionals from a variety of settings, including academic centers, private entities, major healthcare systems, community-based services, clinical laboratories, industry and research.  The conference format will provide attendees with the opportunity to earn CEUs and collaborate/network with other genetic professionals in our region.  While this event will be held on a virtual platform, the event will occur in real-time with the ability for attendees to interact with one another, event speakers and sponsors via live chats. This is a live event and no recordings will be available after the conference has ended.

All attendees must register individually.  Each attendee should purchase only ONE ticket.

Attendees planning to request CEUs MUST register by August 10:  

- Purchase the "Conference with CEU" ticket

- Provide your NSGC ID

- Submit $25 payment for NSGC CEU charge

- Complete and submit the CEU evaluation form following the conference

Attendees not planning to request CEUs:  

- Purchase the "Conference without CEU" ticket
