Vote to Approve the SCGC 2022 BOD Slate Today!
Hello SCGC,
We hope everyone had a wonderful weekend after the AEC on Friday! As mentioned during Opening Remarks, our Election to approve the 2022 Slate of SCGC Board of Directors (BOD) is LIVE starting today, Monday August 23rd. All full members are able to participate in the election. Instructions are provided below, as well as included in the SCGC Election Instructions attached.
1. Go to socalgc.org
2. Log-in to your SCGC Account (If you have not registered yet, please do so! Visit socalgc.org/membership for details.)
3. Go to your SCGC Account page
4. Scroll down and select the "Go to Vote" button
5. On the Elections page, you can review the list of all candidates on the current slate, including photos, bios, and CVs/resumes
6. At the bottom, you have the opportunity to write-in any candidate suggestions you have for open positions*
7. To approve the slate, select "Accept"
*Our Education Committee Chair position is OPEN. We welcome any and all suggestions of current SCGC members who would be great for the position!
The final day to approve the slate and/or write-in candidate suggestions will be Friday, September 10th. Results of the election will be announced soon after.
