Introducing CEU Compass

I’m excited to share a new resource designed specifically for genetic counselors: CEU Compass, a free, searchable dashboard for finding NSGC-approved CEU opportunities.

We all know how scattered CEU information can be. CEU Compass is a centralized tool to help you easily find relevant Category 1 CEU events — including webinars, conferences, and on-demand courses — all filterable by topic, format, and more.

It’s still in its early stages and meant to stay free and community-driven. To make it as useful as possible, I’d love your input.

If you're aware of an upcoming CEU opportunity or are hosting one, please send it my way. You can:

CEU opportunity that let's you take care of yourself!

Hi all,

I recently signed up for this Wellness that Works Webinar Series through the CEU Shop, and wanted to share it with you in case you're interested! Available live 9-10a PST every other Tuesday starting in June, or available on-demand!

I just bought a water color starter kit from Blue Rooster Art Supplies, if you feel like supporting a local art store in LA!

They also have a book club where you can earn CEUs!

Wildfire resources and support

We recognize that many members of our community have felt the impact of the devastating recent wildfires in Southern California and want to help provide support during this challenging time. To this end, we are starting this forum thread where members can post links and details for relief resources, support, donations, etc. We will also host a Zoom meeting town hall this coming Tuesday (2/4) at 3:30 PM for anyone interested to come together as a community and support one another (details below). Please feel free to reach out to info@socalgc.org if you have any other ideas for how SCGC can support you and our community during this time.

SoCal GC is inviting you to a scheduled Zoom meeting.

Topic: SCGC Town Hall

Time: Feb 4, 2025 03:30-4:30 PM Pacific Time (US and Canada)
